Tri-Regional Convention-Workshop Closing Remarks
*delivered last March 6, 2010
After days of hard work, many sleepless nights, endless meetings through YM, facebook and cellphone, we, the regional council of region 3, 4 and NCR are very proud and thankful that this event has successfully come to an end.
We thank our fellow PSYSC members, our ates and kuyas for making this event possible. Thank you for helping and supporting us in our hard times, pushing us to do our best even though we may seem hopeless. Thank you very much for your hard work. We couldn't have done this without you.
Thank you all participants, students, teachers who came here today. We know that you all may have been busy but still you managed to have time to be here with us today. It may have been a long journey but still, you came. This event would not have been successful if not for you.
To the newly elected regional councils, we hope that you will also do your best to create even more fruitful activities like this. Be aware of your responsibilities as officers. Your challenge does not end in the regional elections. The challenge only starts there. Do your best to achieve your goals and plans. Do not do this for the sake of doing it but do this because you want it and you love it. Put your heart in it. Volunteer. Being a leader may be a big responsibility for you but as long as you put your heart in it everything will be alright.
To the students or participants in this event, we hope that you were able to learn and have fun here with us.
Sana yung mga natutunan niyo ay hindi maiiwan dito. Dalhin niyo ito kahit saan man kayo mapunta at ibahagi niyo ito sa iba. Sana ay magamit niyo ito sa inyong buhay at upang makatulong sa kalikasan at sa mundo.
Just like renewable energy for mankind, we hope that we, the youth, use our energy for the world. Sana wag sayangin ng bawat isa ang ating enerhiya sa kung ano ano at gamitin nalang ito para makatulong sa bayan.
Sa aking kapwa RCs na nandito ngayon, Jestine, Arianne, Robin, Mark, MJ, Troy, Pia, nakakaiyak mang sabihing tapos na ang ating termino, at least naging masaya at nabuo ang pagsasama ng bawat isa. Nalampasan natin ang hamong iniharap sa atin. We did a great job! Congratulations.
Again, thank you everyone. We hope that just like us, you enjoyed your day. We hope that we served as an inspiration for you today. See you again soon!
