We are like stars in the night sky, though different in intensity, color and size, we lie on the same sky, sparkling brilliantly.
People from different places clearly describe the difference in culture, traditions, practices, attitudes and behavior. These differences often time create a big gap between groups. Thus, dealing with people in a short period of time and without knowing each other is not easy, a common situation in a journey of a leader. Hence, a team building activity is a great avenue for the youth to develop their sense of responsibility, sensitivity, cooperation and effective decision making. Dealing and interacting with fellow student leaders was a great experience.
On the other hand, project proposal making is one of the toughest practices I ever encountered. Creativity is necessary yet we should be careful in making projects which are suitable and easily available. I found out that it is important to consider the immediate beneficiaries to come up with good, fun and educational activities. But of course, budget is equally important.
Our adventure here in the Leadership Training Seminar equipped us with knowledge, a valuable treasure of intellect and a badge of freedom from a dark care of ignorance.
